Professionals are promoted commensurate with their capabilities and contributions, rather than solely based upon their length of service with the firm. Consultants have the opportunity to advance within the firm quickly. Promotion to Manager generally occurs after two to three years and promotion to more senior roles after an additional three to five years, depending on performance.

• Immediate management responsibilities: Consultants have the opportunity to manage associates from day one.
• Opportunities to work with senior executives: L.E.K.’s non-hierarchical structure results in frequent interaction between consultants and senior professionals both within L.E.K. and within the client’s organization.
• International experience: Approximately one-third of L.E.K. projects involved an international component; L.E.K. Consultants frequently work with international project teams and may take advantage of opportunities to relocate to international offices either on a temporary or permanent basis.
